what the other commenter wrote in spanish worked for me on windows 11. I had the problem of "Access Violation".
here is translated intstructions:
Installation on Windows 10:
1) Download the game ISO (605 MB), Patch 1.16 (37 MB), Serials (277 b)
2) Install the game on the same disk where Windows is installed to avoid the "Access Violation" error.
3) Use serial 2PK8-R32A-YZKE-J29A (or any of those in the serial file (277 b).
4) Copy the patch 1.16 executable to the folder where the game was installed and patch the game from there.
5) With the game version at 1.16 go to "Gamecopyworld" and search for the crack "Terminator 3 v1.16 [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE" (940 Kb)
6) Copy the 1.16 crack where the game was installed and replace.
7) Create a profile and play normally

You can somehow edit bots, in some file, for example? It's just a horror of some kind: if you choose a mission, and in general, they are wildly stupid, they answer any question or task in the negative. What the ABCD...!? It's just infuriating!!!
By the way, I found a way to run the game on the tenth and eleventh windows.

------------HOW TO AVOID the ACCESS_VIOLATION PROBLEM------------
USE The WM or VirtualBox and one of the prev. Windows OS ISO, f.exm., Win XP SP2, Win Vista, Win 7 SP1 x32/x64 (it'll be good choise). Install it and install: MVSC+++ (x32/x64) - 2008, ....2017; DotNetFramework (x32/x64) - 3.5, ..., 4.7. No need to updates from the MS servers. Don't forget to install DirectX (directx_Jun2010_redist.exe use it for the web search and download from the MS website), use offlain installer only to download and install. Good luck!

How to get this work.
1) Mount the CD image
2) Install using either autoplay.exe or setup.exe
3) Copy t3.exe in crack folder in mounted CD to game installation folder. Select replace existing file when prompted.

I have Windows 10, and the game installs just fine, I applied the patch but I can't load any maps. I keep getting a crash when it tries to load the hk tank, and according to debug I have the following issue:
*** Bone not found! Weapons\HK_TANK\model.lod
*** Bone not found! Weapons\FK0\model.sca
*** Bone not found! Weapons\FK1\model.sca

I know I'm late to the party, but I can shed some light for the people who can't install. Change the .bin file to an .iso file then mount and install. Use Alcohol 120% as your image reader, and the rest is self explanatory.

This is the "War Of The Machines" game. "Rise Of The Machines" was consol only (PS2/XBOX) and is completely different with an actual campaign.
The title needs to be changed.
