Nevermind, I figured it out. DO NOT use the QuickTime that comes on the disk. Use an updated version from anywhere else.

I tried uninstalling QuickTime and reinstalling using the version on the disk, but it's still giving me the "Unknown Error". :(

I solved the "Unknown error (-2018)" message on the save/load screens by uninstalling all previous QuickTime versions and using the one included on the CD. Make sure to select the "Full" installation, not "Minimal" or "Custom".

I have been having trouble with saving, it says "Unknown error (-2018)!" specifies the files Dialog2.pct and Save.pct, before taking me to the save screen, and allowing me to type out a name for a save, but when I go back to load the game, it shows me the error message for Dialog2.pct again, and doesn't show my save or allow me to load it. Also, 2 of the patches will not install at all, which may be part of the problem?
