Wacky Wheels (aka Wacky Kart) is a video game published in 1994 on DOS by Apogee Software, Ltd., FormGen, Inc.. It's an action and racing / driving game, set in an arcade, shooter, automobile, track racing and combat vehicules themes.

Yes, it's a Mario Kart clone, but not the first/oldest one for PC.
The first and in my opinion better clone is Skunny Kart of Copysoft (1993).
The best clone for PC/DOS is Street Racer of Ubi Soft (1997).

Who gives a shot if this is a clone of mario cart or not. You can burn your opponent with a devil brandishing his butt across the screen. No such psych out in Mario cart.

OK Mario Kart clone, it also had multiplayer modem support which was fun. But yeah, it wasn't as good as the actual Mario Kart on SNES

There's no room to argue if it's a clone or not, it's about as much a clone as the CHAMP Kong game and its kind. Absolutely Original, with no derivation whatsoever.

Actually it is a Mario Kart clone. Super Mario Kart came out in Japan and the U.S in 1992, 2 years before this game came out.
