Just to let you know I have a full working installation for 'Xarlor': Mountain King/JDS Games, 1999/2000. It runs fine On Windows 8 + 10; even the installation program. I also have a zipped portable copy that plays. The developers had a feud that prevented further distribution almost immediately after it was released.

I also bought a copy mid-2000s; I never received this after playing the demo regularly for some time. Just all kinds of hassle, "Not our fault" the distributers told me. A space-shooter, I finally found it with some old Gaming CDs archived on the Net, from which I ripped the install and zipped up this and an installed version. Only about 25 mb, 18 levels of fun and great sound and graphics for the time.

simple controls to learn (though you might want to modify some of them), a simple but fun game to jump right into! i reccomend you play this with a mouse, playing it on a trackpad like i did is rather awkward!
