In 2003, Electronic Arts, Inc., Electronic Arts Ltda. publishes NASCAR Thunder 2004 on Windows. This racing / driving and simulation game is now abandonware and is set in a licensed title, vehicle simulator, automobile and track racing themes.

I got it working under Win10 (thanks a lot @SHADAOLE!), but pit options don't seem to work during races. Any fix for that?

Found a way to play in 1920x1080 75hz.
1)Download dgVoodoo 2.8 (NOT THE API VERSION)
2)Put files "dgVoodooCpl.exe" "D3D8.dll" "D3DImm.dll" "DDraw.dll" in to the game folder.
*D files are in the MS/X86 DO NOT INSTALL D3D9.dll* - in the dgVoodoo 2.8 rar file that you downloaded.
3)Open dgVoodooCpl.exe and apply these settings:
General/Enumerate refresh rates - ENABLE (if your monitor supports more than 60hz)
DirectX/VRAM - 256mb (You can use more if you need to)
DirectX/Resolution - 1920x1080 75hz (or whatever resolution you want to use)
DirectX/Antialiasing - 8x (to make a better looking picture)
DirectX/Filtering - Force anisotropic 16x
DirectX/dgVoodoo watermark - leave it unchecked (leave the box empty)
4)Click OK to apply all of those settings.
5)Start the game
I'm using Windows XP Service pack 3 for the game exe file and applied admin rules.
I've also installed Nascar_Thunder_2003's 3DConfig.exe (3DConfig.exe might not needed to be here, but keep that in mind)
There is only 2 bugs that i found: at the start of the game the menu car will be bugged (after you join a lobby and come back it should be fixed) and your mouse will lag the game quite a lot. I don't know how to fix this, but if you know how to fix it you could leave here another comment.
I don't know if you can run it in 4k or 1440p - you have to try it yourself and leave a comment if you want to.
XBOX ONE (model 1697) gamepad works fine. Just don't forget to change your controls for it and the deadzone.

@SHADAOLE - Can confirm his fix works on Windows 11 - RTX 3060 + AMD 5600x specs.
Can run in 1440x900 @ 165hz (my monitor only does 165hz).
1. Install NT 2004
2. Download and Install NT 2003
3. take the 3dconfig.exe file from NT 2003 and REPLACE 3dconfig.exe in NT 2004
4. Select Windows XP SP3 Compatibility pack + tick "Run as Administrator" for BOTH the NASCAR_Thunder_2004.exe as well as the new 3dconfig.exe inside the NT 2004 folder.
5. run NASCAR_Thunder_2004.exe as Administrator and 3dconfig should open up and begin testing and setting up your graphics card to run the game.
6. BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY!!! LETS GO RACIN' BOYS!!!!

I can't get it to open on windows 11 even if I run as administrator or just trouble shoot it when i open as administrator it asks if it can make changes to my device and then I say yes it just does nothing

My game works fine but i am unable to change the camera view of the car when i race, even if i put the view in cockpit or roof it always comes in chase mode.

To run this game on Windows 10 you should replace the 3DConfig.exe files with the one from Nascar Thunder 2003 iso. Dont forget to turn on "Windows XP SP3" compatibility mode for the 3Dconfig.exe and NASCAR_Thunder_2004.exe. I already tested and played without any problem on my Windows 10, Core i5 + Radeon RX470. The only downside we dont have widescreen and the the screen resolution stuck at 1280x1024, but everything worked really well.
