Description of Deep Core
Here is the video game “Deep Core”! Released in 1993 on Amiga, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an action game, set in an arcade, sci-fi / futuristic, shooter and platform themes and it was released on Amiga CD32 as well.

Fudge 123 2024-11-26 0 point Amiga version
Too many doors, too much dying of oxygen/energy deprivation, too much being shot at on occasion, but that said it has a nice design aesthetic, which reminded me of Cybernoid on the C64,as did some of the sentry guns and the drone shooters.
Some interesting ideas here and there, but the feeling of being lost while under pressure to get oxygen pick ups/energy is a nag and the play by numbers feeling is strong as you pop in and out of various doors and corridors which all look the same, which weighs on the already pressured play experience.
Feels like it's trying a bit too hard, could be good with a trainer to turn off the need for air and energy,as it was released at the same time as the Alien Breed series was booming on the Amiga,as such could be seen as a more accessible game in that genre, worth a look if not just to hear the vocal sounds that the shooting and pick ups make.
