How to play Ghajini: The Game Windows
NoCD showed a lot of warnings on VirusTotal, mostly about suspicious/possibly malicious file, should be safe to use. However, if you want 100% safety - use NoCD on Virtual Machine
Notes:
- The game was released on CD first, later it was released as digital version. Looks like CD version doesn't have any strong DRM protection, just simple disc check, so you can use tools like Daemon Tools or WinCDEmu and play with disc image in virtual drive, if you don't want to use NoCD
- The game works fine on Windows XP, but on modern systems it has problem with missing sound. If you can't hear sound in game, do the next: go to
Ghajini/scriptsAndAssets/clientfolder, open prefs.cs file and change the line$pref::SFX::autoDetect = 0to$pref::SFX::autoDetect = 1. Save the changes and try to run the game, the sound should appear. Most likely after you change the sound parameter, the game will start showing an error when you close it, just click "OK", that error is non-critical. If sound disappear - edit prefs.cs file again and make it "Read-only", sometimes the game automatically changes$pref::SFX::autoDetectback to 0

it has a 1 hour long intro video trying to be soooo badass then its just jumping across a bus to a fence falling a few times, walking 0.1mph, and 5 impossible security guards and stealth, that you just can never get past. Its so horrible. Is there even a video game beyond this??
The developers literally stop people from trying out their game by putting 5 impossible security guards right at the very start of the game.. How is it even possible to be this stupid?

I understand old games are old, but where does the retarded come from? The movement speed is so slow it takes 4 minutes to sneak past the very first guard. And the movement speed when running is slower than the average games walking speed

Honestly, this wasn't that bad of a game. What's really obvious is how much of a Max Payne clone this is. If you haven't played Max Payne, you'd think that it's a solid game. If you have played Max Payne like me...then you know that the design choices are REALLY similar.
