Description of Hard Hat Mack
Hard Hat Mack is a classic platform game in the style of Donkey Kong or Miner 2049er that deserves much more attention than sales figures suggest. Your objective is very simple: finish building the high-rise while avoiding falling screws, vandals, and the building inspectors.
The gameplay is fast, fun, and very addictive, and the graphics in all its 4-color CGA glory is more than adequate to convey the frenetic action. A good proof that Donkey Kong is overrated, and a real blast for the past for nostalgic gamers everywhere :) Two thumbs up, way up!

Another must have in the pirate scene in the 80s. Huge trade bait this game was, and what fun it was to spend hours and weekends getting good at it.

IT IS A STAR WARS TEXT GAME & TO ADD TO THE FUN & FRUSTRATION I HAD TO DRAW MY OWN MAP AS I WAS PLAYING. I DON'T THINK TODAYS GAMERS HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR SUCH A GAME. DRAWING THE MAP WAS HALF THE FUN OF THE GAME. YOU COULD MAKE SOME SERIOUS CASH BACK THEN BY SELLING COPIES OF MY MAPS.

OMG!! had this for my Apple ][+.. in fact.. I believe I still have it on 5 1/4" floppy... wasted many many hours on this game.
