Cleveland course is strange, isn't it?
If I choose "Auto Braking"...No problem.
But if I choose "Manual Braking", I feel like I'm on the frozen pond.

it is the best racing game of the early 90s, realistic, playable with amazing graphics. I remember that I had to acquire a 486 with an early ATI SVGA card to have it run smoothly. I would enjoy spending some time finding the right car configuration depending on the track and weather!

One of the best racers from the 90s. It is a shame that more Indycar games were not released and still to this day, definitely under represented in the game industry. I spent many an evenings, playing into the early hours of the morning with this game. I wasn't too up on the sport, but it was the year that Nigel Mansell moved across the pond and to this day is the only man to hold both F1 and Indycar/Cart titles at the same time.
The PC scene was awash with high quality racers covering many motorsport categories. Would love to see this game released now, but not by EA as they are ruining every single licence they have their fingers in.

It's a pity this doesn't have an SVGA mode as the graphics look really pixelated on an LED display. I now wish I had kept my CRT for playing DOS games with lower resolutions. :(

The game looked good and the number of adjustment options wasn't overwhelming, unlike some games.
But the pain in the rear about this game is the "assist". If you turn it off, the cars are nearly undrivable. If you have it on, your car slows to a crawl if you leave the racing line and try to pass somebody on any track that's not an oval.
