Back when this was released, if I recall right, the review magazines hated this game. The copy I had was in a oversize VHS style clamshell box.
My own personal experience was it was a very difficult game (for me at least, I was around 8 or 9 years old at the time) but I stuck with it and was able to complete it. I enjoyed it as was, but it was definitely a quirky game because there wasn't any game I can recall that used the same collection of mechanics in the same package.
