Description of Rescue on Fractalus!
Rescue on Fractalus! (aka Behind Jaggi Lines, Rebel Rescue, Rescue Mission) is a video game published in 1985 on Commodore 64 by Epyx, Inc., Activision, Inc., Virgin Mastertronic Ltd.. It's an action game, set in a sci-fi / futuristic theme, and was also released on Amstrad CPC, Apple II and Atari 8-bit.

The Atari 8-bit had a very low res mode that could do 256 colors, so the Lucasfilm Logo and the launch tunnel look great... but the terrain is comparable to the C64.

Yeah, I'll never - EVER forget the first time this game scared the crap out of me...Mom was playing it and THAT was no ordinary soldier waiting to be rescued --- lol! Geez, has it really been that long since it was released? Seems like just a few years ago. That or I'm getting old.
