I have very fond memories of this game when it was released to Sega 32x. I bought the 32x because it was discontinued and like $10 brand new from Kaybee toys, this was one of the few games that actually took advantage of the enhanced hardware and is one of my all time favorites from the early Star Wars flight sims. I recommend anyone who likes the old school star wars shmup releases as it's an appropriate successor to the original Star Wars game circa Atari 2600 era. IDK how it stacks up against the pc titles Tie Fighter & X-Wing because, though I'd bought both my pc wouldn't support it lol. I wouldn't really recommend you compare it to another game tbh, as it was def ahead of its time w/polygonal graphics and voice-overs by Admiral Ackbar among other familiar Rebels. I may add to this review depending on how nicely the game plays w/Win 10, although, I'll probably download a Win 98 ova for Virtualbox instead of Dosbox. Either way, great game & fond memories :-)
