Star Wars: X-Wing (aka X-Wing :מלחמת הכוכבים), a really nice simulation game sold in 1993 for DOS, is available and ready to be played again! Time to play a real-time, sci-fi / futuristic, licensed title, vehicular combat simulator, space flight and space combat video game title.
Take control of the famous spaceship of star wars in X-Wing, the first game released by Lucas on his legendary universe.
The game storyline is close to episode IV ending, many cutscene explain the parallel story to the movie.

Spent sooo many hours on this game! After I bought the ThrustMaster joystick & throttle down many more hours. Really miss it! Can’t wait to play again.

anothre quite entertaining games was (a bit younger) rogue squadron, for those who dont know it.

I used to play this game for years as a kid, it is one of the best space combat simulators ever.

Never played this, but heard a lot about it - now's my chance to have a go - but understand it's a hard game and I wonder if modern games have softened me up?! :)
