- The installer of the game is 16-bit so it doesn't work on modern systems. If you want to install the game on modern 64-bit systems, use winevdm
- The best way to play the game on modern systems is to run it on Virtual Machine with old Windows, for example, on DOSBox + Windows 3.1. User Sophie Scarlet made a custom installer with DOSBox + Windows 3.1 for easy installation on modern systems, that installer includes "Wishbone and the Amazing Odyssey" and "Wishbone: Activity Zone". It was tested on Windows 10 64-bit, check this page for more details about that installer

If you want to run this software, you would have to have PCEm or 86-Box computer emulators and the virtual machine would have to have at least a 486 or higher processor or windows 3.1 or higher (I think Windows 95 or 98 will work). I wouldnt recommend VirtualBox or VMWare because it would not have enough old school support with Windows 95. This game may not work correctly on Windows NT, 2000, XP or higher, as I heard that some people had problems getting past Hade on a Windows XP or 2000 machine.

This game was amazing for freshman English and the Greek mythology unit. All my kids aces their tests while other kids struggled.

What's the story Wishbone? Every American child in the 90's remembered this show. The video game ? Not so much. Educational point n' click style adventure game where you help Wishbone, a Jack Russel terrier who can talk, relive the plots of classic literature, just like in the educational show it was based on.
