This was one of the best bullfrog's releases. We've been playing this for hours! Really addictive racing, combined with shooting and a lot of fun! Loved it back then and it's still amazing today. A rework of it would be my suggestion :)

You need to run this program under dos32a in dosbox otherwise it will crash.

A little help? When I start the game, it shows me the intro movie and then the bullfrog studios screen, then stops there. It won't advance no matter which key I press.

Hi, purchased the game in 1995 and this year also purchased the Green Pepper Version of this game in the hope that there are the additional three racing tracks on the CD. It cost me a lot off efforts to find the patch 1.2 in the net. Last but not least, I have found the update to version 1.2 with the three additional courses and patched my early version of the game. I feel like twelve now playing this game in DosBox. For those interested in the patch it is split in two downloads each for a 1,44 MB diskette unzip the archives in one folder and start this install process in Dosbox. The two parts of the patch are available here

Would be really great if you could add the additional map pack that became later available for the dos version. Okay three additional maps don't sound great but I wish I could download them somewhere.

One of the very few games that actually used the ability of SB AWE32/64 soundcards to load custom samples into onboard RAM, then playing MIDI tracks using these (check sound/bullfrog.sbk with any SoundFont/sf2 editor) samples, along with some built-in ones. I felt like it's sort of magic to have CD-like soundtrack (CDs and CD-ROM drives were still expensive in 1995/6, especially for a teenager) in the game that weighs ~15 Mb. The gameplay is well-balanced and addictive - although it has only 6 tracks to race, I spent countless hours (totaling in weeks, if not months) playing it again and again.

Awesome game! Is anyone have the 1.2 patch? I can't find it on the web.

A solid futuristic racing game that I spent a decent amount of time with back in the day. There was also a playstation port but I prefer the DOS version. Recommended!
