Hi so anyone having trouble on W11 you can just Copy Paste the Powershell script into and Admin Terminal. Should also work in Admin Powershell. Just install the repack and you should be g2g

The game works fine on windows 10. All I had to do was download the ISO, open the zipped file to find the ISO file then mount it to a virtual drive. I used UltraISO free version. Troubleshoot compatibility on the setup.exe file then run as admin. Game installed and I was up and racing in no time! Make sure to check if the ISO is mounted before you launch. I had no problems with it asking for the CD.

As someone who just wanted to share the nostalgia of this game with my son, I was finding no luck of getting this game to run on Windows 11. I'm sure there are plenty of others out there in the same boat. After a failed attempt to seek clarity from the creator's Discord, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The process I've outlined below has successfully worked on two separate Windows 11 machines, and I hope it helps you too and any one else my age trying to relive and enjoy this great game. (fair warning, the comment box for this website isn't big so if the layout or grammar is off, please cut me some slack)
Start by Downloading the Game ISO Version & Install the Game from the ISO (~400MB):
Once downloaded, right-click on the ISO file and select "Mount" to create a virtual drive. Open this new drive, run the setup file, and follow the prompts to install the game.
Next, you'll need the LGU Repack by Bladez1992, which includes a handy No-CD Fix. This version is optimized for use without the game disc and should be around 562 MB.
After downloading, use a tool like 7-Zip or WinRar to extract the contents of the LGU Repack into a new folder. Once that's done, run and complete the setup from the HWSTD.msi file.
Additionally, in the extracted files, look for a file named HWSTD1.cab.
Remove the Old Data Folder: Navigate to your game's install directory, typically found under C:\Program Files\Stunt Track Driver or its variant in Program Files (x86) on 64-bit systems. Delete the existing "data" folder there, making sure the game isn't running.
Make a new folder in the same location and name it "data". Then, move all the contents from INSIDE the HWSTD1.cab file into this folder.
****Adjust Permissions if Needed: If you run into permission issues when deleting or copying files, right-click on the problematic file or folder, go to Properties Security tab, and check your permissions. You might need to click Edit to modify them, ensuring you have permissions to Read & execute, List folder contents, and Read.
With all that done, the game should now be ready to run smoothly on your Windows 11 system.

i tryed the iso version with changing to think im useing XP or 98 and it didnt work but now im trying "Repack provided by Bladez1992"ill keep you updated if it doesnt work but if it works then there will be no update.

Dont worry Spazmaster. Now there are literally tons of games on this site ... "Legally FREE" ... as those which were once paid have become abandonware. Many will play fine on windows 10 with little or no issues. Others you just need to tinker carefully and may run with little or no efforts.

Stunt Track Driver 1 & 2 and CRASH works on my fathers Windows 10 64bit no problem but I cant get it to work on mine. But somehow I managed to get Stunt Track Driver to work on my PC. However after unlocking all the cars and levels the game deleted itself after I restarted my PC

No it does not work on Win 10 - I could not get it to run - the CD burn errored out - but got the same CD burn to work on XP. Found another reference on line that said it runs only on XP or older.
