Description of Hugo
Please note that this game may not work on DOSBox. It may be cracked or badly programmed in the beginning. But on PCem emulator it may work fine and on real hardware also.
The game was previously released in two parts, as Hugo - Pa Nye Eventyr and Hugo - Pa Nye Eventyr II.

First of all, thanks for the download.
I'm brazilian and when I was a child, I used to watch the Hugo's tv programme. And now I could play. I'm very happy e satisfied.

Germany saw this on several TV networks over the 90s to be played by calling into a show (was it Top Shop?) and using DTMF to control the character. I always had the feeling that the controls were delayed on the networks side since you could hear the tones and the controls sometimes reacted with a very noticeable latency or not at all. IIRC you could win real money. I always wanted to play this on my PC at home but I guess I was struck with the copy protection. There were unsolvable situations in the Train level as well as unavoidable obstacles in other levels. This was the first game to feature voice output that I ever played.
I also remember my then 80 year old grandfather laughing terribly about this game. He was delighted by it :). His name was Hugo, too and to be honest, he had very huge ears. :D
I used the german version with a default DOSBox. It seems to work quite well.

This game was shown too in Argentinian video game shows. People called in and played Hugo by pressing number on their phone.

One of the Finnish versions doesn't run in DOSBox. You need e.g. Oracld Virtualbox with MS-DOS or some real old hardware.

I found the finnish version of the game and tried to run it, but it says "Reboot requested, quitting now" and then shuts down the whole DOSBox.
Then i tried "Hugoboot", but nothing happened. Is there anything to get this issue solved?
