Le Mans 24 Hours is a video game published in 2002 on Windows by Infogrames Europe SA, Atari Europe S.A.S.U., Infogrames, Inc.. It's a racing / driving and simulation game, set in a managerial, licensed title, vehicle simulator, automobile and track racing themes.

Where is PC port based on the PS1version developed by Eutechnyx?
It was released in 2000.
Just to preface, I am not referring to the remake version (this page version) developed by Melbourne House.

Can I play it with the newest windows? (windows 11)
if the answar is yes, how?
I installed it and i pressed the "auto run" button. It said I need to install DirectX 8.1. But when i went to the "install extras" menu and i pressed the DirectX 8.1 button nothing happened.
(sorry for my English)

necesita tener el directx 8.1 en windows 10, lamentablemente para mi y para muchos acá, tenemos el mas actual... alguien conoce algún modo de poder arrancar el juego sin ese detalle?

If you face issue that the setup fails saying that it needs Intel version of ME/XP then don't worry just follow these steps:
1. Open the game's CD content.
2. Click RMB on Setup.exe file.
3. Click LMB on "Properties".
4. Go to "Compatibility" tab.
5. Check "Run this program in compatibility for: Windows Xp Service Pack 3"
6. Apply the change.

This is not a issue. The game will originally run minimally just in 0.9 of game speed. Install Cheat Engine, enable speedhack and set the speed to 1.1.

Para quienes no les funciona el instalador. En el iso hay una carpeta program files, dentro hay una carpeta que se llama infogrames copienla y peguenla donde deséen (yo la puse en programs files x86) dentro de la carpeta infogrames hay otra con el nombre del juego, dentro hay un archivo que se llama Lemans.exe ejecútenlo y ya está. A mi me funcionó en mi Windows 8.1 64bits con gráficos integrados Intel HD graphics.

okay, i managed to boot by using running autoprun.exe in compatibility mode XP service pack 2. Installed the game and everything. But it runs too slow for some odd reason. Unplayable in the state that it is.

When I start from "Lemans2000_Win32_rel.exe", it does not open and I get a window error saying - Failed verifying file """ from the Files.lst for "." -. No idea whats the issue and solution.

Like others have said.
After downloading the file from here. Open up the rar file and inside the folder you will see a disc iso type image (looks like a small disc) Get a programme to open that Iso image to extract the games folder and dir contents. I use a programme called Magic Iso to do this.
Then after extraction in that folder you will see a folder called programme files. Go into that folder and you will see a game exe called Lemans2000_Win32_rel. Start game from that exe. You don't need to install the game as the game will start like a rip disc. You can move this extracted folder from anywhere out of your Downloads to anywhere on your PC and even put a desktop shortcut on your desktop from the exe (previously mentioned) to start the game in the future.

Anyone able to get it to run over 20fps? PCGW says use dgVoodoo2 to remove the limit, but I can't get that to work.

SO I cant even get the game to run on Win10, I copied the folder but nothing happens when I click either exe file, tried 98/ME/XP compatability and nothing, I dont even get the graphics config screen, what am i doing wrong?

Need help in win 10, after bypassing the instaler/autorun, it say that I need DirectX 8.1 to run it, and I have a newer ver. of it.

For anyone wanting to play this on Windows 10/11 you'll need to bypass the installer by open the LeMans disc image file and from there go to program files Infogrames Le Mans 24 Hours and copy that folder into your documents. Once in documents open the file and run Lemans2000_Win32_rel and you'll get a window pop up showing your graphics card, fullscreen option and a selection of resolution options. Select 1280x960x32@60 and once you click OK the game will start.

I have found a way to bypass installer in win 10, just copy the folder F:\program files\Infogrames\Le Mans 24 Hours to your pc
