win10, workin great.
used: Dxwnd v2.04.63 (probably also any other ver.)
game window (picture) is off the screen in right side (tilted), problem which Dxwnd solved. the setting you have to make:

set path: nibiru.exe
main: generic, run in window (NOT fullscreen only), position: keep aspect ratio, and click: desktop
video: video handling: emulate win maximize and force win resize and also: windows size and position: locked size
at screen resolution: monitor native modes, max resolution: 1024x768
at tweaks: select: d3d:fixD3DWindowFrame (don't know if this is necessary)

that's it. all good.

This game has beautiful artwork, but the gameplay is as stiff as the main character's walk. Everything is scripted. At times you have to do the same thing twice to move the story forward. Adventure game? No. This isn't even close to a Sierra, LucasArts, or Infocom game. It's too bad because it's nice looking.

I was stuck on the Ketchup glitch, then I replayed the whole game to get to the point when I asked to hire the fishermans boat, and answered with a frowning face, and then this got rid of the glitch, if you're stuck give it a try!

I downloaded this game and was enjoying it, really reminds me of black mirror, but there’s a glitch at the hotdog puzzle which I can’t get past. I found some saved games but they won’t load.

burned cue files onto cds, (only had one cd-r so i had to use a dvd for disk one)
installed and ran right out of the box on my w8.1 laptop from 2016.

never played a point and click game, but recently everything seems to suck so i figured i'd try something far outside my wheel-house.

so far it's pretty entertaining, although the mechanics take some getting used to (got stuck a few times because i just didn't get you have to use specific things, by dragging and dropping on trigger points and sometimes you just use them straight from the inventory, or you have to right click on certain trigger points to "use" or "interact" with them.

honestly the story and presentation is decent but the voice acting is pretty bad (like how ghost movies are bad films (usually) but they're still fun to watch if you enjoy the genre (as i do)
