Download The Immortals of Terra: A Perry Rhodan Adventure (Windows)

The game with patch and NoDVD has been tested on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 10, works with no problem

Install & play guide:

• Mount the ISO disc image of DVD. You will need the utility for mounting disc image files, like WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/Alcohol 102% or Daemon Tools Lite
• Install the game
• Also it is recommended to install DirectX 9 from the disc (if you're using Windows 10 - make sure to enable DirectPlay, read this or this guide how to do it)
• After that install the patch
• Install NoDVD (Simply copy Perry_Rhodan.exe from the archive and replace the original exe-file inside Rhodan/bin folder)
• Open the directory with the game and find Perry_Rhodan.exe. Right click on Perry_Rhodan.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Set "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows XP" and "Run as administrator"
• Launch the game and play. If the game doesn't work - try to launch the game, then open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del by default) and check for processes Perry_Rhodan.exe and rundll32.exe. Close Perry_Rhodan.exe but don't touch rundll32.exe (it's a Windows app for running old apps from 32-bit operational systems, most old games running through rundll32.exe). Now try to launch the game again, it must work. Don't forget to close rundll32.exe process in Task Manager after finishing playing

Notes:

• If the game launches in windowed mode - edit the desktop shortcut and add -fullscreen (right click on shortcut - Properties - Target - write -fullscreen in the end of line, should look like C:/Games/Rhodan/bin/perry_rhodan.exe -fullscreen)
• The game always MUST BE launched in compatibility mode with Windows XP, especially if you're using Windows 10. Otherwise the game won't work correctly
• If the game shows error at the launch or works too slow - try to launch it on lowest graphical settings, to do that edit the desktop shortcut and add -fullscreen -compatibility_mode (right click on shortcut - Properties - Target - write -fullscreen in the end of line, should look like C:/Games/Rhodan/bin/perry_rhodan.exe -fullscreen -compatibility_mode). The game will be launched on lowest settings and will be looking not great, but at least it will be working
• If you have troubles with fonts - try to copy all fonts from Windows/Fonts folder into Rhodan/data/gui/fonts folder
• NoDVD is required because the game is using TAGES DRM protection, which doesn't work correctly on modern systems. If you want to play without NoDVD - update TAGES drivers for 64-bit systems by this link
